L.E.P. Walks

St Andrew's Walks Representative - Frances Edge 8363 8676

details of walks for 2012 will be published soon

General Information

1. Please bring appropriate clothing for the day. Boots or good walking shoes are advised for day walks,
though trainers will usually suffice for evening walks if the days leading up to the walks have been fine.

2. Unless the letter ‘L’ appears in the heading, please bring a packed lunch.

3. Day walks usually finish about 3.30 pm, as close as possible to a ‘tea shop’.

4. Please tell your walks representative (Frances Edge for St Andrew's) or the walk leader if you intend going on a walk,
so that you can be informed of any changes or cancellation, and please tell him or her if you have changed your mind.
If the weather is poor, it would be a good idea to telephone to find out if the walk is still going ahead .

5. Please also make it clear if you intend joining the walk at a later point:
at a more convenient bus stop or station or at the beginning of the walk if using a car.
Travel by car usually begins at St Paul’s Centre; thanks in advance to all who can offer lifts.

6. Thanks to all who have supplied mobile phone numbers to make contact easier.
Please have appropriate numbers with you before starting out.

7. Although the published meeting times should be correct, significant changes to rail timetables may warrant a change of meeting time;
again, please check with the leader, or consult 020 8363 8676

8. Where the ‘4 for 2’ rail offer applies, please be prompt at the meeting place, as tickets cannot be purchased until everybody has arrived.
